Accelerating Packs
priint:suite is a powerful platform. We like to call it a swiss army knife, it comes with tools for almost every publishing task you can think of. But when everything is possible, it can be hard to know where to start and what to focus on.
Acceleration Packages (AccPacks) are our answer to that. They are pre-built solutions for the features we see used in multiple projects. They cover the most common 80% of use cases and give you a solid starting point that you can adapt to your needs.
What is an AccPack?
An AccPack is a self-contained solution for one specific feature. It does not depend on any customer project and can be added to your environment with little effort. Each AccPack comes with documentation before it is released.
What is a Skeleton Project?
A Skeleton Project is an example project that shows you how to approach a specific goal. It is not a finished solution, it is a starting point. Skeleton Projects are not necessarily ready to be deployed to customer systems. Some customization is needed. They are there to show you the structure and patterns you need to build your own solution.
What we aim for
We are selective about what becomes an AccPack or Skeleton Project. A feature must work across many different projects, be easy to maintain, and do one thing well. We do not include customer-specific logic or features that only work in specific conditions.
All documentation is finished and reviewed before an AccPack is released.
AccPacks and Skeleton Projects are provided as a starting point. They are not covered by the priint:suite core warranty. Functionality is provided as is.
Consistent Demo System
To show what AccPacks can do, we provide a demo system that is ready to use out of the box. After a fresh priint:suite installation it can be hard to know where to start. Our demo system gives you a complete starting point with a sample entity model, data loaded by the Generic Excel Import AccPack, all Generic Placeholders configured, and setup guides for Web2Publish.
You can quickly adapt the import file to create your own small projects or showcases.
